Some links were changed and removed due to Nikon changing and removing them. Most of the links below are direct links, meaning I'm not providing you a link to a download, and you have to search through another several pages to find it. Right-Click on the PDF links, and select "Save Target As". This way, you can see what you are downloading and how much progress has been made as it downloads onto your computer system. You can still click on the link normally, and it will download, but, you won't have any indication of the download unless you look at the bottom of the browser window. Any questions, feel free to contact me. You will not have to right-click the links in the "Software Downloads" section (unless you want to). This is because the links are not PDF documents, and will not lock-up your computer when downloading. An average PDF document can easily lock your computer up if you decide you don't want to download it, and cancel the operation. To email me about links that are not valid or just are not working, contact me as well. |

This is a very important document to read. Nikon does a pretty good job on writing DSLR manuals for their users, and they always go out of their way to explain the features of their cameras. Please note that the file size is rather large. For those on a slower connection, you may want to plan on about 1hr to 1hr 30mins for the entire file to download.

Note: Nikon's current version numbers (as of 4-25-2005) for their two primary software titles are Nikon Capture v4.2, and NikonView v6.2.5. Unfortunately, Nikon does not permit anonymous access to their FTP anymore (at least for new software updates and documerts), and you are advised to click on the above link to download the latest software.
