Pencil Sketch is the seventh filter offered by Snap Art. It takes a little more work for a user to be successful with this filter because it is very dependent on the image itself, and will require several experimentations in order to get the image the way you want it. Images containing little definition in them will especially be difficult to convert to a likable effect and I chose an example below to show the contrast of an image which has little definition in the lower part, while having more definition in the top. I did not mention this earlier, but in all of these filters, you do have the option of creating additional effects because you're still in the Photoshop domain.
Pencil Sketch Basic Settings
A total of 26 predefined filter settings (including the default filter) are available to you for immediate viewing and comparison.

For the final effects, I decided to show two examples, to demonstrate just how many different variations exist within a single filter. The first example was done with the factory default setting, and the second image I chose the Charcoal, dense portrait option.
