Photo/Graphic Edges 6.0 installed just fine on the DigitalDingus PC System #1, a rather old system, and performed rather well. Installed on the latest Q9450 DD PC System with 4GB of DDR2-800 RAM, and the application could easily handle large file sizes and processing without a hiccup.

Auto FX's Help On Demand feature, which brings up quick but detailed information about a particular button when your mouse hovers over it for a few seconds, is actually helpful. I used it a few times to help myself remember what certain buttons were used for. In addition, the overall GUI of PGE 6.0 is pleasant to use. Viewers might take note you can change the color of the GUI. In this review, there is a purple-colored interface, however you can select over a dozen different colors (such as "banana" or "strawberry") for a more consistent look with your desktop.

The graphical user interface of Photo/Graphic Edges 6.0 is like other Auto FX GUIs--modern and intuitive to use. With the added features of Memory Dots, you can see several of your previous effects on your image. If you have a rather complicated effect which you noticed you just can't do without, click on a memory dot and it is saved at that point for future loading if subsequent effects are not wanted. While this was really helpful in Mystical Lighting, I noticed Memory Dots were even more beneficial with Photo/Graphic Edges 6.0.

Photo/Graphic Edges 6.0 should be in your graphics collection. With the amount of customization--providing an infinite amount of additional material--the asking price easily pays for itself. This is an application which is meant to stay with you, and is designed to evolve as you increase your familiarity with Photoshop and Auto FX applications themselves.

Photo/Graphic Edges 6.0 certainly deserves a Highly Recommended Plus.
