The following results are from formatting the Fujitsu MHV2120AT to NTFS. You may notice the "0%" CPU Utilization figure. Since HD Tach has a +/- of 2%, this could mean the drive was using 2% of the CPU. Since the drive was tested on a dual-processor motherboard (Abit VP6 with 2-1Ghz processors), HD Tach may have been confused. For example, once processor may have been using 0%, while the other processor was using 2%. Depending on the software application, one or two processors may be used. In either case, this demonstrates the very low power requirement of the Fujitsu MHV2120AT.
NTFS "Quickbench" Results

The HD Tach RW 3 NTFS "Quickbench" results consist of a 4MB pre-read area and a 4MB test area (8MB), with the drive being formatted in NTFS. From the above graph, the Fujitsu MHV2120AT demonstrated the following:
- Average Read Speed of 18.6MB/s
- Burst Speed of 10.9MB/s
- Random Access Speed of 20.6ms
- CPU Utilization of 2% (+/- 2%)
NTFS "Longbench" Results

The HD Tach RW 3 NTFS "Longbench" results consist of a 16MB pre-read area and an 16MB test area (32MB), with the drive being formatted in NTFS. From the above graph, the Fujitsu MHV2120AT demonstrated the following:
- Average Read Speed of 18.6MB/s
- Burst Speed of 10.5MB/s
- Random Access Speed of 20.6ms
- CPU Utilization of 0% (+/- 2%)
