DigitalDingus decided to get a hands-on of the Machspeed Trio TV5. The Trio TV5 might look like a typical digital camera, but it is actually a Portable Multimedia Device with a 5 megapixel image resolution. Where most digital cameras have to dock on a platform to enable video and audio out capabilities, the Trio TV5 has these built-in so very little accessories are needed (except for the audio and video cords). Also included on the TV5 is a microphone for audio recording.

The Portable Multimedia Device

The PMD is a device which has evolved over the years, and so has its price. I don't even have to mention the most popular PMD currently, but does a person need to spend $300 or more? For some, the answer would be an affirmative, "Yes!" However, there are other options available, and the Trio TV5 just might be your affordable option. Currently, the Trio TV5 is available for around $100 online.
