Introduction | MH-DPB220LI Camera Cable | MH-DPB220LI Connectors | Specifications | Conclusion

MH-DPB220LI Connectors / Detachable Plugs

The MH-DPB220LI comes with 3 most-popular camera cable connectors:

Maha PowerBank MH-DPB220LI Coaxial Plugs

Generally speaking, one of these connectors should fit your particular camera. The supplied detachable plugs also have the "Sony-Type" end, which covers many of Sony's portable digital devices. A person could purchase additional plugs at a local or major electronics store, but Maha does not recommend this or advise it. The reason is, you need to be very sure what the voltage tolerance is of your digital camera or electronic device. Most people don't, and don't know where to begin in the first place.

The Benefits Of Li-Ion

Low temperatures have a dramatic effect on NiMH batteries. Li-Ion batteries, while still susceptible to cold temperatures, have a much better tolerance than NiMH batteries. For example, I would recommend to try an experiment. Charge your normal NiMH batteries, and charge your new MH-DPB220LI. Grab your camera bag and head outside on a biting cold, but sunny and clear winter day. Start taking a bunch of images with your NiMH batteries and see how long they last. Then, when they go dead, use your Maha PowerBank. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised on how much longer you can continue shooting.

Car Adapter

A 12V DC adapter is included when you purchase the MH-DPB220LI PowerBank. This will come very handy and I've used the car adapter myself. Honestly, it's going to be VERY rare that you will run out of power if you use the PowerBank. You'd have to be shooting for many many hours, using the LCD monitor, and just using as many power-hungry features of your camera or digital device as possible in order to bring the PowerBank to a hault.
