Once again, Vizo provides one of the best packaging arrangements I've reviewed. The majority of the case is cardboard with a rectangular plastic window, just large enough to see the entire Master Panel. No blister packaging to cut yourself, just a nice professional presentation and conscious packaging. As with other Vizo boxes, I tend to keep them in a safe place for future re-packaging.
The Vizo Master Panel (MTP-101)
The MTP-101 has a really rich black look to it and has a "wet" effect due to the thick plastic which protects the panel's front from getting dirty and deteriorating over time.
Taking a look from the back, the SATA ports can be observed which connect to your motherboard. What may not be so obvious, is the 4-pin (computer fan size) power port which is to be connected from your power supply. More than likely, you'll need an adapter, such as a 4-pin Molex because you may not have the 4-pin fan power adapter available.
I would have liked to see an adapter included with the MTP-101.
MTP-101 IDE/SATA Power Cable
The package I received had the IDE and SATA power plugs combined on one cable, and measures around 22.5" long. I would have preferred separate cables.
MTP-101 SATA Cable
The included SATA cable is about 20" in length.
The MTP-101 Brain
Seen below is an exclusive image of the actual microchip which is the "brain" of the Master Panel. The JM20330 chip is made by JMicron.
